High Temperature and Fire Resistant Sealants
The Fortafix sealants are used in a wide range of applications where protection to high temperature or resistance to the spread of flames is required. They are suitable for many applications, including flexible seals up to 350 Deg C, jointing of flame barrier fabrics and rigid heat seals that can operate up to 1260 and comply with BS 476: Part 4: Non combustibility test for Materials.
Single Part High Temperature Resistant Adhesives
Fortafix have developed a wide range of single part adhesives to suit many applications where resistance to temperature is critical. Ranging from flowable liquids to heavy pastes the products are used in a wide range of applications including industrial engineering, research institutions, high technical solution and domestic installations.
Two Part High Temperature Resistant Adhesives
Our Two Part adhesives can be used for encapsulation or to give control over curing are consistency. They can withstand up to 1600 Deg C offer very good electrical insulation. Supplied as a powder and liquid combination they can be mixed to suit specific application.
Heat Resistant Cements
Fortafix heat resistant cements are available as a ready mixed product or powder. Used as a fire cement, refractory patch or expanding cutlery cement they offer a cost effective solution for many installation or maintenance solutions and available in sizes from 0.5Kg to 25Kg packaging.
Specialist Products
Fortafix have developed products for many specialist applications where bonding, sealing and coating is required to resist high temperature. Applications include strain gauge adhesive for use on jet engine test facilities, satellite mirror housings, and boltless machine mounting. Fortafix chemists can develop application specific products.
